This exhibition features Dr. Paul Lin's Asian puppetry collection, which he has generously donated to the National Taiwan Museum. We invite audiences to explore this diverse assortment of puppets from all across Asia and the similarities and differences between the cultures in which they originated.

The show covers a wide range of themes—faith and traditions, literature and entertainment, history and politics—while also highlighting the creativity and devotion of the puppeteers and troupes who have passed down and carried on the art of puppetry.

The National Taiwan Museum prioritizes the cultural integration of audiences of all backgrounds. We hope the exhibition will encourage people of different cultures to understand, respect, and appreciate the beauty of each other's traditions and together enjoy Asian puppetry's profound heritage.
